The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed in regards to the substantial variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service sassa status check the area regularly. The provider level created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
